RECENT EVENTS REVISITED
Move-A-Thon was a Magical Success
Once again, this year’s Move-A-Thon at Huron Park was an outstanding success. The beautiful fall day attracted many of our Tender Years families. The children loved moving through stations where they experienced crafts, bubble blowing, bobbing for ducks (and apples) and jumping through hoops ... collecting stickers as they went!
After enjoying a pizza lunch, both young and old kids gathered to experience the magic tricks of Pedro, the magician. How did he make those birds and bunny magically appear?
The day was topped off with a visit through a St. John’s Ambulance and Peel Regional Fire truck. Thanks to the Special Events Committee for organizing a top-notch fundraising event and to the numerous business sponsors in the community who made the event possible! |
