Tender Years is a not-for-profit, co-operative school dedicated to providing a high-quality, community based educational facility that our staff and families are proud of. We offer half day Nursery School and Kindergarten programs to children between the ages of 2 ½ - 6 years old.

Our educators are RECE certified, as well as highly experienced and dedicated. They bring creativity and warmth to everything they do.

Student to teacher ratios are low, allowing for each child to receive the individual attention suited to their own needs. While adhering to provincial requirements, the Kindergarten program offers learning that goes well beyond the core curriculum.

Because Tender Years is a co-operative school, parents are closely involved in their children’s early learning experience. Family participation creates a strong sense of community and commitment as parents have the opportunity to interact regularly with the teachers, as well as other families.

We recognize that children learn and develop at their own pace; as such Toilet training is NOT required for your child to attend school here at Tender Years.
